Peter Upton is an English painter, author and poet who, with his twin brother Roger, are both English artists from an artistic family; their mother was a painter and their uncle, Charles William Cain, a celebrated dry-point etcher called the 'Etcher of the East'. Roger's son, Mark, continues the tradition.
Peter has a worldwide reputation as an artist and author, specialising in the Arab Horse. He is an International Judge of Arab Horses and has twice been President of the British Arab Horse Society, as well as Patron of the The New Zealand Arab Horse Breeders Society. Like his brother Roger, he has travelled extensively in the Middle East. He carries out extensive sketches whilst travelling, using biro on bankpaper, and then he paints the finished piece in his studio.
Exhibitions of his work have been held across the world and his paintings are much sought-after. The Arabian Magazine is delighted to offer this limited edition set in conjunction with Medina Publishing, with whom the magazine has many links
